Ricki Gever Eisenstein, PhD, Development Consultant

Ricki Headshot

As Development Consultant, Ricki oversees the plan for Communications and Development at StudentsCare.

Ricki’s academic background is in dramatic literature and higher education management.  She earned her BA, MSEd, and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania focusing her research on service learning and urban community-university partnerships.  Before concentrating on her non-profit consulting work, Ricki ran a small cafe and community space in Fairmount Park that she built from a crumbling park house back in 2010.  The cafe is home to walkers, runners, bikers, yoga enthusiasts and all who love fresh healthy food and warm community along the Wissahickon.  Ricki is an active volunteer with the Germantown Friends School and with Shakespeare in Clark Park.  She is a proud Board member of the Pig Iron Theater Company and she sits on the Advisory Board for the Philadelphia chapter of C-CAP (Careers for Culinary Arts Program).  Ricki is a daughter, sister, wife and mother of three beautiful children, and she is so happy to be a part of the StudentsCare team.
