StudentsCare’s Partners with Nonprofit Organization, HopeCam, to Support More Hospitalized Children Virtually

StudentsCare’s Partners with Nonprofit Organization, HopeCam, to Support More Hospitalized Children Virtually

 02.16 2021

Alongside working with their partnering children’s hospitals to continue supporting pediatric patients virtually, StudentsCare has also been teaming up with fellow nonprofit organizations to broaden their reach and identify more patients to serve.

Their most recent partnership has been with HopeCam– an organization that donates internet and technology to children with cancer to help them overcome the social isolation experienced from frequent treatment and hospitalizations. Similar to StudentsCare, HopeCam’s mission is to make sure children diagnosed with cancer feel supported, and to alleviate loneliness, anxiety, and depression by providing the means to stay connected virtually. And with the COVID-19 pandemic, HopeCam’s mission is even more important! With minimal visitors allowed in hospitals today, how else can hospitalized children connect with family and friends?

Now, as a new partnership, StudentsCare & HopeCam can work together to identify hospitalized children in need of support and provide the technology needed to connect them virtually with their family and friends and StudentsCare’s trained college student Buddies!
