StudentsCare partners with Senior Living facilities located near universities across the U.S.
Our Senior Buddy Program is a proven service that connects specially trained college students with older adults to foster meaningful relationships that improve the resident’s overall well-being and positively impact the entire community.
Our student volunteers undergo a rigorous screening process that includes interviews and specialized training.
With a minimum commitment of one year, our volunteers are dedicated to building meaningful and lasting intergenerational connections with their senior buddies.
Along with compassionate one-on-one visits with their buddies, our students also organize engaging group activities that benefit the entire community.
We go above and beyond to bring a bit of warmth and cheer to our buddies. We create comfort kits filled with cozy blankets, soothing tea, and a thermos, engaging activities, and more.
